wâsaskotîpathowin kîthânaw;
tipiskâwi-pîsim kîthânaw
î-wastînamâkiyahk kaski-tipiskahk.

ᐚᓴᐢᑯᑏᐸᖪᐏᐣ  ᑮᖭᓇᐤ
ᑎᐱᐢᑳᐏᐲᓯᒼ  ᑮᖭᓇᐤ
ᐄᐘᐢᑏᓇᒫᑭᔭᕽ  ᑲᐢᑭᑎᐱᐢᑲᕽ

We are thunder;
We are lightning;
We are moon;
shedding light in the dark of night.
