Dolores Sand

Dolores Sand’s favourite kind of teaching tools involve singing – and laughing – along. She also likes to use the familiar (like a good classic love song) as a foundation for learning something new.

In one set of CD notes she writes:
Many thanks go to the Elders of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation and especially to my [late] mother Freda Ahenakew, who gave me the interest and the love for our Cree language. Thanks also to Winston Wuttunee for his contribution to the Cree Cree traditional song kīspin kisākihin.
