Dawn Marie Marchand: Blue Horse Gallery

This video by Barry Bilinsky created on behalf of Punctuate‽ Theatre and Amiskwaciwâskahikan Indigenous Arts Hub was filmed on location at the Blue Horse Gallery and Studio, Dawn Marie Marchand’s gallery/studio in Smoky Lake, Alberta. It showcases the gallery that displays the work of many Alberta Indigenous artists. With the gallery now relocating – still within in Smoky Lake – this video represents something of a time capsule of a really special time and place. It will be fun to see what form the Blue Horse Gallery takes in its next incarnation, expected to open in Spring 2023.
