Are you interested in learning more about Master/Mentor Language Learning Apprentice Programs (MAP), learning about techniques and tools for language revitalization, and connecting with others?
Join members of the Prairies to Woodlands Indigenous Languages Revitalization Circle next weekend March 18-19 from 10-4:30 each day for their 2023 MAP Interactive speaker series! Throughout the weekend, they will be providing opportunities to connect with others passionate about language revitalization and building language communities and you might win one of the many session and daily door prizes!
Just a few of the topics they expect to cover are “traditional” team-based MAP, Group-based MAP, use of online courses to supplement MAP learning, learning through song and performance, preparing to be a good language hunter, creating a free online language course, recording and intellectual property concerns, and language archiving:
We are excited to tell you that we have been able to invite speakers from across Turtle Island!
The event will take place through ZOOM so please RSVP by sending an email to email@example.com to confirm your spot as they are limited. Please note that the event will be recorded to share with others.
