Today marks the launch in Lloydminster of this 8-episode series, and the release of episodes one and two on the Telus Storyhive Youtube Channel.

The series begins in a good way as Charlene Bonnar offers protocol to Wes Fineday at his home at Sweetgrass, which he accepts with prayer. To each of them, we send every good wish for a happy, successful event today. We join them in hoping that the messages captured in their conversations “may be of help to people in the future.”
Episode 1: Meet my Mentor – Traditional Knowledge Keeper Wes Fine Day: In this first episode, podcast host Charlene Bonnar visits Sweetgrass First Nation to offer protocol to her mentor in order to begin this series “”in a good way.”” They return to where they first met at Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta, for introductions. They discuss what it means to be a traditional knowledge keeper and the power of medicines, medicine people, ceremony, and faith.
Episode 2: Pulling the Cart – A White Horse and a Brown Horse: Continuing their visit in Lloydminster, Alberta, Charlene Bonnar and her guest Wes Fine Day discuss prayer, ceremony, and the power of sound as they work at building cultural bridges.
