S2 E1: Welcome Back – Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar and traditional knowledge keeper Wes Fine Day from Sweetgrass First Nation begin Season Two with introductions and by offering cloth and tobacco. They revisit topics from their first season and introduce some new threads.
S2 E2: Stories of Past and Present – Continuing their visit in Lloydminster, Alberta, Charlene Bonnar and her guest Wes Fine Day discuss ancient and historical stories while making connections to the present.
S3 E3: Environmental Literacy and Emotional Persecution – In this episode, Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar and her mentor Wes Fine Day discuss connections between humans and nature.
S2 E4: Stories of Sweetgrass – Wes Fine Day from Sweetgrass First Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada, shares tales of Chief Sweetgrass and stories of the community with Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar.
S2 E5: Postcards from the Past – Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar and her mentor Wes Fine Day look through family photos and postcards that spark stories from the past. Mr. Fine Day shares memories from his residential school experiences.
S2 E6: Setting the Warrior Free – As a follow up to their residential school conversation, Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar and her mentor Wes Fine Day discuss passive versus active resistance. This inspires a conversation about some of the obstacles faced by the guest.
S2 E7: The Return of Bloomfield’s Notes – In this episode, hosted by Lloydminster resident Charlene Bonnar, traditional knowledge keeper Wes Fine Day shares a collection of stories gathered by American researcher Leonard Bloomfield who spent time on the Canadian prairies in 1925.
S2 E8: A Leap of Faith – Meeting on a rainy day in Lloydminster, traditional knowledge keeper Wes Fine Day shares teachings with host Charlene Bonnar. They discuss medicines, horses, fish, and spirit doorways. Wes shares more of his journey in this final extended episode.
Season 3 Pitch to TELUS Storyhive – It’s too soon to say what Season 3 will might include, but it’s great to know there are plans for more to come!
